AssetBands grew out of Wes Livingston's own trading. While building and testing his trading tools, he identified a family of tradeable securities that does not exist in the market today. He filed a U.S. patent application in May 2026, spent the following months extending the design to cover more assets and market conditions, and filed a second application in October 2026.
A specific first product has been identified that can launch under today's rules, with no regulatory changes required. Wes is now seeking an innovative financial services firm with a large base of active traders to license the patents and bring the AssetBands family to market.
